The Table of Ten Action Committee was established in the summer of 2009 to be an Action support to the Chamber Board of Directors and the Executive Director.  With the vision of supporting The Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce & Business Development, the Table of Ten strives to develop new programs, events, and fund raisers to empower and promote the Chamber and our members.

The Table of Ten is comprised of Chamber members that are area business leaders, developers, and past chamber board members who have been recommended and referred for board approval.  The current committee is chaired by Greg Sparrow of Milner & Associates.  Current seats are filled by Jami Bruns-Total Logistic Control, Linda Crouch-Kishwaukee Community College, Kelly Davis-The Agency Staffing, Mick Gronewold-Fehr-Graham& Associates, Dana Purifoy/Kriss Glass-Sara Lee (Shared Seat), Natalie Vogeler-Walter Wayne Commercial Realty, Chuck Watkins-Rochelle Insurance Agency, Chris Wilkinson-Body & Sol Tanning & Fitness-Fun N Sun, Kathy Yocum- Stillman Bank.

The Table of Ten is responsible for coordinating and chairing Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings, Business After Hours, and other special events.  The Table also, identifies area needs and conducts seminars to service our existing business base.  They identify and promote resources for business and entrepreneurs to help capitalize and start new and existing operations.  The Table of Ten promotes involvement in community and civic activities.  The Public Relations (PR) committee, a subcommittee of the Table of Ten, has been established to promote our members, and special events while making it fun to be a Chamber Member.

Committee seats have no specific term of service therefore if a committee member deems it necessary to step down the chamber board can reassign the seat on the Table.  If you are interested in volunteering for a seat on the committee, assisting in planning an event or volunteering at an event please contact the chamber via email chamber@rochelle.net or by phone 815-562-4189.
