ROCHELLE, IL…The City of Rochelle and the Greater Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the relocation and Grand Opening of Lifeworks Imaging in the Rochelle downtown at 403 ½ Lincoln Highway (entrance in the rear). The studio is owned and operated by Dan and Stephanie Williams. Stephanie is a 2001 graduate of Rochelle Township High School and Eastern Illinois University.
The public is invited to a Ribbon-Cutting and Open House beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 at Lifeworks Imaging. The Open House will conclude at 8:00 p.m. Prizes include free photo sessions and a pair of White Sox baseball tickets.
The spacious all-digital studio will include both a dressing and viewing room. The business will specialize in photojournalistic-style weddings, modeling headshots, senior, business, family, and baby portraits, maternity and sports photography along with a variety of other unique photographic services. Also a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in photojournalism, Dan Williams was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Greater Rochelle Chamber of Commerce.
“Photography isn’t just my profession, it’s my passion. We strive to tell stories through our images, not merely create pretty pictures and our photojournalistic style really helps show that”, said Dan Williams. “We are filling the need for a professional photography studio in the community and we are ecstatic about getting our business off the ground”, Williams added.
With the slogan “Live it. Capture it. Treasure it”, Lifeworks Imaging will be open from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday or by appointment. Devoted to story-telling images, Dan is a second-generation photographer. His grandfather has been a portrait photographer for nearly 40 years. The Williams believe heavily in photography education and are constantly looking for new techniques and styles to try.
