VCCT Performing the Comedy "Legends"

ROCHELLE, IL, OCTOBER 21, 2009: Vince Carney Community Theatre of Rochelle will be performing their fall show of “Legends” on November 6-8 and 13-14 at the James Paddock Hall (formerly Independence Hall) in the Hickory Grove Civic Center, 1127 North 7th Street, Rochelle. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8pm, with the Sunday matinee show at 2pm. Doors will open 30 minutes before each show.
This comedy, directed by Carol Weidmann, follows the story of a young ambitious Broadway producer attempting to stage his dream play. He needs names to bring in the crowds and turns to two film legends to play the lead roles. Unfortunately they hate each other. The unscheduled arrival of a male stripper and some "seasoned" brownies help to create this hilarious comedy written by the author of A Chorus Line. This show does have some adult language.
Tickets for this show are $10 and are on sale now. They can be purchased through the VCCT website at www.vcctrochelle.org, at the Rochelle Chamber office, or at the door one hour before the show. Tickets can also be reserved by calling 815-764-ACTS.
