The Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce & Business Development Delegates are the support arm of the Chamber and are charged with extending the hand of friendship to new and old members alike.  The Delegates promote retention by welcoming new members, making goodwill calls, assisting with ribbon cuttings and attending a variety of Chamber events.  The Chamber relies on Delegates to mentor businesses, aid in relaying information to and from members, identify member concerns and gain support for the Chamber.  The Delegates meet monthly at local restaurants. At these luncheons a presentation are given from new or existing businesses along with a Chamber Update.

As an incentive to the Chamber Delegates, Delegates are rewarded based on points earned through participation.  Awards are given out regularly to the Delegate with the highest acquired points.  Points are earned through participating in the following: Mentoring New & Existing Businesses, Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings, Recruiting New Delegates, Monthly Delegates Luncheons, New Member Referral, Business After Hours, and Chamber Correspondence.
