Ambassadors Club - Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce

The Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club is a group of about 30 volunteers from our membership. The club meets monthly and functions as a public relations and good-will arm of the Chamber. Ambassadors welcome new Chamber members at Ribbon Cuttings and open houses, serve as hosts at Chamber programs and provide assistance at those event held by the Chamber as well as other organizations like the League of Women Voters State of the Community Dinner, etc.

Ambassadors are volunteers who, on behalf of the Chamber, make good will calls and offer information to encourage strong continuing membership and active support of Chamber programs. This Club is known as the “Welcoming Arm” of the Chamber.

Ambassadors serve as official “hosts” at Chamber functions such as Ribbon Cutting events, the Annual Dinner, Legislators Luncheon, Business After Hours and many other events!!

The Ambassadors club members get to contact new and existing members to:

Encourage member participation in Chamber events and programs
Invite members and non members to Chamber functions
Identify member concerns
Facilitate communication between the Chamber and the Chamber membership
